Tutoring Services

I am certified to teach reading to children from kindergarten through grade 4 using the IMSE, Orton-Gillingham reading method. However, I have completed the Intermediate Morphology training to help serve older students' reading needs.

Assessments 

In our initial meeting, each child will be assessed using the Phonological Awareness Skills Test (Zgonc), the IMSE Initial or Level 1 exam, and DIBELS 8th Edition benchmark oral reading fluency assessment. Progress monitoring will be done periodically.

At School (during the school year; school approval needed)

Lesson Frequency and Rates

I highly recommend at least two 45-55 minute lessons per week.

Rates are per session and determined on a sliding scale based on family income or situation (there is an additional one-time fee for the initial assessment)
